As Christians, it’s not “My Father” vs. “Your Father”; we’ve come into a family together: “God, Our Father.” Jesus shows us how Our Father wants His children to interact together, as we grow together in Christ (across generations), as we love, serve each other, celebrate, reconcile, forgive and give grace, as we help, encourage, pray, hold each other accountable, and honor each other. Being together was already assumed, so Jesus went on to tell us the “HOW” of being together. Our hearts are being shaped while we’re together. Do the ways we traditionally gather together serve it’s purpose in helping us follow God’s Commands, or are there other ways that help us follow God’s commands too?
