The Plan to Restore (Jer 29:10-14)

God's Plan is to Restore (Jeremiah 29:10-14). Throughout history, we see that even in the midst of difficult circumstances, challenging seasons, or periods of pure judgement taking place, God's plan is to restore. This gives us hope that even while we face the certain season and life circumstances, God's final goal and plan is to restore heaven and earth together with Him. This gives us the hope we need while we settle down, live this life on earth now, and know that God continues to restore His creation back to Him.

Series Intro: Putting verses back in context helps us better understand the author's message and intent. Throughout this series, we are seeing the context of favorite commonly memorized verses and letting the fuller context apply to our lives. The "Interpretative Journey" from Duvall & Hays is helping us see how we can read, study, and apply the Bible in our own lives. We do not have to wait until sundays to hear what God's Word means from the preacher; we can already apply these good practices of interpretation in our own studies as well. So let's see what Jeremiah 29:11 means in context and let that context give us richer meaning in our lives.
