We Are In Victory!

In order to live eternally with God in His eternal imperishable Kingdom, our perishable bodies need to be clothed in imperishable bodies.

If Jesus didn’t resurrect, then we are of all people to be pitied.

Our faith is futile without the resurrection because death is not defeated and we are still dead in our sins [1 Cor 15:17-18].

‌

But, since Jesus did resurrect, then our faith is not futile and what we do is not in vain!

‌

We already have the firstfruits of the resurrection, a taste-test of what is to come. We have this firstfruits and the down-payment of the indwelling Holy Spirit inside of us… to live in step of God’s spirit.

This is the down-payment of the inheritance to come when Jesus returns and we are raised with imperishable bodies.

Jesus’s resurrection, from perishable to imperishable, proves His victory over death! We share His victory over death at our resurrection - from perishable mortal body to imperishable immortal body for the imperishable eternal kingdom.
