Questions Today:‌

-What does it mean to be a member?

-What does it mean to be a member of Christ, His Church?

-Who is Christ’s Church Body available to?

-Is there a division still? Do we still have divisions here?

They came together as members! Unified together as One Body — Christ, the Church!

It means we are many members joined together as one living body, Jesus Christ! Functioning together with the gifts God has given to each of us!

We are affected by each other — we help, love, and care about each other! That is not passive but very intentional… taking active effort!

Loving Christ Is Loving His Body — the Church. We can’t Reject Christ’s Body while saying we love Christ — that is rejecting Christ. [read: Mt 25:40-45]

-“As you have done to these, you have done to me.”

-“How can you say you love God whom you have not seen, yet hate a brother who you do see?”

There’s going to be differences, and that is good! But do not let those differences become means of being divisive!

As disciples of Jesus, we are each unique functioning members, unified together as the body of Christ — the church. Love each other as Christ has loved you.
